Cracked Stone Bird Bath

Cracks quite often occur on bird baths due to wide temperature variations. Repairing a crack on your favorite ornamental object is better than just throwing it away. Use Devcon®home Gaps & Cracks to make a quick and simple fix.
Step-by-Step Directions
- Empty cracked bird bath of any water.
- Clean surface area to be repaired from dirt, debris and any residue. Use soap and water, if necessary, to thoroughly clean it. Allow to dry.
- Using the Gaps & Cracks adhesive and filler, remove the caps and cut the tips from both bottles.
- Apply adhesive into the crack or surface to be repaired.
- Apply a thin layer of the filler over the adhesive not exceeding 1/16" before adding the next layer of adhesive.
- Continue to apply adhesive and filler in layers until the crack is completely filled in.
- When filling the crack, make sure that every inch of the repair is covered. This will also help to serve as a sealant.
- Allow to sit for 24 hours before use.
